Delivering Innovative Groundwater Control for a Complex Culvert Project in Georgia.
This project involved the construction of a large-scale stream relocation culvert at a major power plant in Georgia, where complex hydrogeological conditions and proximity to a CCR landfill required a highly controlled and innovative dewatering approach. Griffin Fluid Management successfully designed and implemented an advanced eductor well system, supported by detailed groundwater modelling, real-time monitoring, and specialist drilling techniques. The solution achieved significant groundwater drawdown in challenging, low-permeability and fractured soils, enabling safe excavation, protecting environmental integrity, and delivering the project ahead of schedule.
