TDI is thrilled to announce that VEI Contracting has become a Company Member of The Dewatering Institute (TDI). Established in 2003, VEI has grown to become the largest in-situ remediation firm in Canada. They’ve successfully completed more than 1,000 remediation projects across Canada and Internationally. VEI specializes in the remediation of soil, bedrock, groundwater and soil vapours for various contaminants including chlorinated solvents, petroleum hydrocarbons, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, heavy metals, and nutrients.

Building on decades of experience with Pump & Treat systems, VEI has expended their dewatering services to cover both contaminated and clean water projects. Their staff have experience with the design and implementation of complex dewatering projects such as infrastructure and civil servicing projects, high-rise construction and foundations, water treatment plants, and mine sites.  

VEI services also include High-Resolution Site Characterization services like the Hydraulic Profiling Tool (HPT) which can provide a high-resolution snapshot of subsurface geology and hydraulic conductivity, to improve site understandings and minimize uncertainty during construction.
