Griffin Dewatering – Big Bend Modernization

Since 1934, they’ve manufactured equipment & designed solutions for some of the most complex groundwater challenges in the construction industry. They offer several different systems including wellpoint, deep well, eductors, and sump pumping. Griffin also offers water treatment and filtration.

Griffin worked closely with TIC early to identify the best method for dewatering while addressing concerns of tight site and aggressive schedule. Testing before and during installation allowed the removal of interior dewatering components, maximizing construction access and project savings of 20%. The entire wellpoint system that was installed included 2,200 linear feet, three wellpoint pumps, header pipe, wellpoints, and other appurtenances required to connect the system.
