Dr. Chow then went on to complete his PhD from the University of Tübingen, Germany where his research focused on the quantification of hydrogeologic model uncertainties when simulating surface water-groundwater interactions. Afterwards, he completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology (Eawag) where he developed methods to identify long-term trends in water quality from diffuse agricultural pollution. Dr. Chow is passionate about catchment-scale hydro(geo)logical modelling and has research interests in fractured rock hydrogeology, managed aquifer recharge, aquatic agricultural pollution, and contaminant transport modelling.
