TDI & Griffin Training Course – Construction dewatering: Theory & Practice
A six week webinar training course presented by Griffin Dewatering in July – August 2021.
This course is designed to help participants identify if they have a groundwater problem and will cover fundamental theory and provide some basic tools for estimating how much water may need to be pumped, what types of systems can be utilized to remove groundwater and groundwater treatment considerations.

Session 1 – Free Intro Session – 23rd of June

Course Format
The course will be presented in webinar format online via Zoom. Each weekly webinar will consist of a 90 minute session including a presentation, training part as well as ample time for Q&A to discuss items in more detail with the presenter. In order to receive the certificate of completion at the end of the course, each participant will need to complete at least 5 out of 6 sessions.
Cost
$500 (7000 ZAR) – for 6 sessions (including a certificate of completion)
$400 (5500 ZAR) – to TDI Members
$450 (6200ZAR) – for groups of 3 or more delegates from the same company, and
early bird rate (registered and paid before the 25th of June)

Registrations close at 9am (SAST) on the 2 July, so please be sure to register before this time.
Course Certificates will only be issued when 5 out of 6 sessions have been attended, and where payment has been settled in full.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Payments & Procedures
Payment will be due upon registration and needs to be reflected in the TDI account before the 2nd of July 2021.
Payment can be made by direct bank transfer or via Payfast link (credit cards and debit cards). To identify your payment, please indicate the invoice number and your company name on the deposit/electronic payment and email proof of payment to TDI admin@dewateringinst.com
The person submitting the Course Registration Form will be personally liable for the full amount of the course fees, including all administrative charges, where applicable.
Cancelations
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to admin@dewateringinst.com at least 10 working days prior to the scheduled course start date (7 July 2021).
Cancellations received up to 10 days before the course start date (7 July 2021) will receive a 50% refund, less handling charges. There will be no refund for cancellations after this time or no shows.
Substitutions
There is no charge for substitutions, and registered participants can exchange places with colleagues from within the same company, provided that a request for substitution has been submitted in writing to TDI at least 5 days before the Course Start Date (7th of July) and is accompanied by written permission from the original registered participant, and a Course Registration Form completed by the substitute.
Refunds
In the event that a course is rescheduled by TDI, and the delegate cannot attend on the new course date, but has made their payment in time, and has submitted a written cancellation in accordance with the cancellation policy, such payment will be refunded in full, 30 days after the rescheduled date of the Course.
No delegate will be allowed to attend any training course unless payment has been made in full.
All outstanding accounts will be handed over to attorneys and by signing the Course Registration Form, you undertake to pay all the legal costs on the Attorney and own Client scale, including collection, commission, and tracing fees, incurred by the Creditor if securing compliance with the provisions of this Agreement is needed.
