Frans Glorie has been involved in the dewatering and drilling business for more than thirty years. In 1991, he started working in geotechnical soil investigation and dewatering. In 1995, his passion for watermanagement drove him to specialize in vertical drilling for drinking water supply and geothermal energy (cold and heat storage). He worked on large scale projects in the Netherlands and in other European countries. In 2006, he went to Suriname, South America to oversee a drilling project for the local water company. He lived in Suriname for more than ten years, where he worked on various infrastructural projects. In 2016 he returned to the Netherlands and has since been working in dewatering and drilling. In 2023 he started working at Van Tongeren Watertechniek – Bronbemaling.com as one of the managing directors.
